Hopefully by next weekend we can have a "roll-up" release where everything is bundled into one download. Improvements will still be made in a skin-by-skin release.

May I suggest that the core screens should be bundled as one zip file, with plugin skins individually zipped. This is because GBPVR is updated by sub, all core screens at the same time. Whereas the plugins can be updated at enytime. (idea nicked from fatmans Chameleon wiki page)

Will download and test the theme files and My Music (a plugin I use every day) once I get back home after the weekend.

If anyone has images to add to the SkinPlugin selection feel free. Send them to me and I will include them in the zip. Same goes for themes too.

Added WebViewer (does not show screen name or any background images, plugin is in an unfinnished state). I removed the background stuff from the xml files just to reduce overhead.

I am thinking of starting Video Archive next.

Uploaded My Programs, forgot I had that one done also. The latest My Pictures plugin is not being developed until after My Music and My Videos are finished, so no use in skinning for that one.

Also, Brian_W is reworking some of the skinning of Theater Listing plugin to make it more skinnable (along with making internal improvements), and will have an update in the next few weeks, so there is no point in working with the old version on the wiki for this skin.

Fatman_do, I have a request for you when skinning plugin skins.
When you rename or/and Text definitions in the Baseskin.xml
Can you please have those text definitions tagges out in the plugin skin xml.
Then it is easier to move that plugin skin to another skin.

I just move the MusicPlayer to the Advisor skin. Had to change some text definitions. Would be nice if I just could "untagg" the moved definitions.

I meant those that are in the baseskin.xml eg

Move as little text as possible to the baseskin.xml, otherwise the plugins will be very dependant on your baseskin.xml
The plugin skin swill not be so easy to use for other skinners. For an unexprienced skinner it would cause questions.


I thinkt this is looking really good now. I have replaced most plugin skins in the Advisor skin now with these Common image based.

Are you gonna drop Chameleon now ?
