Named Colors in Baseskin

Should I be able to set a named color like:

<NamedColor name="Test" color="Vertical:#3b98aa-#087b98"/>

in the baseskin.xml and be able to use it anywhere like:

<DrawRoundedRect loc="10,5" size="695,37" radius="5" borderWidth="1" borderColor="white" fillColor="Test"/>

Or does it not work this way...:confused:

I believe that will work in the next release of gbpvr. (I intend to use that idea also).

Gradient colours are special case, and cant be used in all locations. I cant remember the exact details off hand, but this is probably one of those places where you must use a solid color.

<NamedColor name="Test2" color="#087b98"/>

Then:

<DrawRoundedRect loc="10,5" size="695,37" radius="5" borderWidth="1" borderColor="white" fillColor="Vertical:Test1-Test2"/>

LOL... Just kidding, that doesn't work either.

Are there any plans to support that though? I'd make skinning a lot easier.
