If you pause, and walk away, and forget about it...

Never mind me with the old Sony tube, but I feel bad for those with Plasmas...

I have wondered about that in the past.
the screensaver kicks in everywhere else, but not during pause.
twice I have come home to find I had left it on pause before I left.

I was thinking maybe a 5 or 10 minute saver delay then instead of the usual 1 min.

Yeah, I second that. I think if we had something like this, it needs a separate delay.

might wanna try the 'screen saver' plugin as a video-overlay plugin and see if that does the trick...they are active during video play so maybe that's all it needs...[in config.xml]
just a thought...Smile

but wouldn't that cause the screen saver to come on while watching a movie/recording? key here is that we only want it to come up while paused.

Well, I did it (with the config I wrote above) and it didn't have any affect.
No screen saver during pause.

No - no news.

Seems like a reasonable request, but it's not something I've put any thought into.
