The likely suspects are the Windows firewall software, any third party firewall software, and antivirus software, any net nanny type of software.

I run a clean ship as far as those type of things go, anything like that has long since been disabled. I don't see any suspicious new services or processes either.

Zip and attach the gbpvr.exe.log and I'll take a look.

You'll probably have to do the leg work to determine what software you're running that is causing the problem. The types of software I've identified above are the only ones I know of that have caused this problem in the past. At least by trying this other PC, you can now clearly see its something on your machine.

The only problem is that nothing except for GB-PVR related processes and services (with the exception of a few crucial Windows XP services) start up, and the EPG has worked with those XP services before. I'm more inclined to believe this is some sort of driver issue, but even then that seems weird since nothing has changed.

Have you verified the computer running Zap2It is actually connected to the net?
I'm posting from the computer.

And earlier I was getting 0 programs found, but then I realized I wasn't adding the channels. XMLTV finds program information, I even entered it into GBPVR. Unfortunately, the channel numbers don't match.

That won't be necessary, I somehow managed to figure out the problem. Why the hell this has any precedence, I have no idea, but there was a proxy address entered into the connection settings of Internet Explorer. Once that was cleared, it updated like normal.

I'm really confused, but I'm relieved I could fix it as well. Thanks for all the help.

Ok, glad you got it going. Thanks for letting us know the cause. I'll remember it as a possible cause for any future reports of this problem.
