Question about On Screen Title

Sub, I wanted to expressed thanks, as I am sure you hear alot, but not enough for GBPVR, and to those that help support it. I apologize that I am not more active in the community.

My question is 2 parts about the on screen title (menu?). I am referring to when in TV, you see the channel, desription of the program, etc in a bar. Mine defaults to blue.

1. I use GBPVR mainly for DVR or as a heavy multitasker. I like to watch tv in a window on a big screen while working on several other windows. As such, I move the mouse around a lot, and constantly get the title to popup a lot. Is there a way to disable the menu from appearing unless I click the screen or change the channel, etc? I just want the window to display TV only should I accidently hover the mouse over it.

2. Is there a way to change the colors or theme to the title menu? I have never noticed a theme to actually do this. But I noticed on the main page of gbpvr.com, the title menu is the screen shot is green. I have never see how that can be changed.

Sorry, there is no setting that does this.

Skins are free to change it to whatever colour you want. The green OSD bar on the screenshot at http://www.gbpvr.com is the mini-guide, shown when you press Ctrl-G.

Sub, I understand and use skins. But I never noticed the OSD changing color. Though I could have easily missed that. But what does Ctrl-G do? And any possible future to the inclusion of stopping the OSD bar from appearing on mouse hover? Am I the only multitasker with that request?

You can also access the TV mini-guide, by pressing Ctrl-G on the keyboard, or [Green] on the remote control.

Using the arrow keys on the keyboard and the ENTER key, or the CH+, CH-, and OK buttons on the Hauppauge Remote Control, you can select a different channel to view. The mini-guide will show you the details from the TV Guide in an easy to view way, so you can select the appropriate channel to change to before changing.
