hi !
I´ve written a tool for organizing discspace.
what for?
My girlfriend has a seasonrecord which leads to 80% usage of discspace and so my star-trek is not recorded.
with this tool you can
- create users, asign them a percentage of diskspace.
- asign GBPVR-movie-folders to a user
- priorize the users folders
when diskspace is low, this tool searches the user, who uses more than allowed usagepercentage, then finds the show with lowest priority and deletes it.
usage:
spacewatch.exe [gbpvr.mdb:<full path & name of gbpvr.mdb>] recordingpath:<path where GBPVR stores the movies> [close]
e.g:
spacewatch.exe "gbpvr.mdb:c:\Programme\devnz\gbpvr\gbpvr.mdb" recordingpath:I:\pvr\
providing the "close"-parameter spacewatch performs one check and closes afterwards. this could be used to start this tool as posprocessing-tool.(untested)
screenshot in the zip.
have fun with this!
