Fair enough UJB, I just didn't know if there maybe any gotcha's like when IE7 was in Beta.

Didn't know if it mucked up media stuff <---Highly sophisticated technical terminology.

I don't know if I had beta 2 or 1, but I've had a look at it. Didn't seem to break anything other than it's self (the visualizer stopped working, and never has done since even after going back to wmp10).
Anyway i'm also hooked on VLC, so I didn't get really in depth with it....

I had WMP11B2 on my PVR until I recently dismantled it and put it in storage. WMP11B2 worked fine regardless of what I threw at it. I was quite surprised, however, to find that the 50% audio bug would still occur with the new version of WMP. (That's the bug where if you press the Stop button on your remote to stop MP3 playback, the audio track's speed would decrease by 50% rather than stop altogether.)
