Dear Sub!

I have tried a lot using comskip to automatically mark commercials. It could not convince me. Quality of marks differs very much from channel to channel.

Could You add 1 or 2 lines of code to gbpvr so that you can mark beginning and end of commericals manually?

I would suggest You press pause and then some other key on the remote so that a line with the actual position of the show is stored in a textfile...



P.S: if You say "No", I have a question: Is there a possibility to find out on which position a playback is actually while playing? <-- can u understand what I mean?

Unfortunately no, there is currently no way for a plugin to tell were abouts playback is up to.

Yes, but I'll be honest, this wouldnt be very high up my priority list - and there is a lot of stuff on that list (even simple things).

a low position is bad but better than nothing.
It would make editing so comfortable for all people who archive shows.

Comskip has a gui to do this, but you need to be on the PC.
