REAL new to skinning

I wanted to add a keypad image to the Search Guide page because my eyesight isn't what it used to be and the numbers on my Hauppauge remote are too small. I don't always have my glasses near by. After looking through the 2 XML files in the Blue\search skin folder, I figured out how to manipulate the text, images, layout, etc. My problem is this: I changed the layout of the large bottom window (the one that displays the description of each episode selected), making it about 2/3 it's original size. I added the keypad image to the left of that. Now the text starts within the right window, but runs out of it. Can I keep the text within that window?

Unfortunately there isnt too much flexibility in this old screen. I'm fairly sure you can move it across (using SelectedDetails special element), but unfortunately there is currently no way to make the width of text area narrower.

Turk - if you want to make a skin with larger text etc, it might speed things up creation if you simply adapt the FlatBlueHighVis skin - downloadable here.

You might try using ShowSearch. It could be made to do what you want you are trying to do.

tieke, I tried the FBHV skin. It's just what I need. I might not have to do a thing. I also tried the Show Search plugin. The two together are great! Thanks!
