hehe i didnt notice that, thats like a dream machine. i wonder how much 512gb of ram would cost?
someone do the math for me, im curious, and lazy.

850 gb hdd is a crap load aswell, 120gb is enough for me (gets about the same a 200gb did when vbr wasnt implemented)

Sorry but 512mb it was just a typo, also the 850gb hard drive space is several 250gb hard drives for max video storage.

on another note, ive updated my pictures again, thats like 5 times today . it will now search for a "Folder.txt" inside any folder (even dirs etc) and will display the first line of text in the file align side the folder/dvd/hdd etc, i have no idea why i never did this at first, it just makes sense to do it so you can have descriptions for albums etc. also every folder/dvd/hdd will search for a folder.jpg/folder.png image and if found will override the default image (in case of dvd hdd) and replace it with the folder image and the folder.jpg/png inside it (like when a folder does this). you can edit the skin file so the folder image covers the entire folder so all you see is the folder.jpg/png. i just thought this would be nice for photo cds etc (just shove a folder.jpg in em and away you go).

anyone else have any ideas? im running out, and im putting off fixing the zooming cause its going to be tricky and cant be bothered with it just yet

oh yeah any other plugin suggestions, i made a nice interface and want to reuse it some more.

BY the way do you use sharpdevelop for this..I Have still a lot to learn about sharp.

i want to iron out the bugs and stuff in the code first, and document it well, its on the large side, and most of the code would be confusing. its all broken up thou, so its not all in one class. i also want to change the skinning a bit, to make it more like subs (using more composite images etc).

and im using visual studio, one good thing about uni we get a lot of good software for free.

It was just a joke - It was obvious what you meant, but thought it funny in the context of you running out of memory. Sorry if it offended you...

On topic... reven - this plugin sounds good, I'll try it out and let you know if I have any suggestions so you can delay your zoom coding

ok i got another thing, to get me away from zooming (i almost got it perfect thou, just have to figure out one more variable and its sweet). im going to add the ability to choose a playlist and load that into gbpvr to play music files. so you dont have to leave my pictures to play music in the background. it will read any .m3u file and i *may* add support for windows media player ones.
im also started working on another "My *****" plugin just to tie everything up. i bet you cant guess what it is .

making another plugin will also help me make the code more generally and reusuable (it irons out design floors, well it does for me).

im hoping to have zooming fixed by the end of next week (should be a few days, but just giving myself elbow room) also ill hopefully have a working playlist thing before then aswell. just got to fiddle around with the UI. m3u files are really basic and just a plain text file with a filename on each line. so thats why ill use em. extended m3u are a little different, but still fairly basic.
