SUB:

I read something in the fourms about a beta that would work with Windows XP64.

I am dual booting XP Pro and XP 64 Pro and would like to have GBPVR functional for my recorded shows (via my MediaMVPs).

Is there a version that run under Windows XP 64?

Thanks!

The current versions run under XP 64bit, but you need to have drivers installed for your capture device, and .net 1.1 installed.

SUB:

There is no (currently available) driver for my Hauppauge 250PVR card, but I was hoping to just get the MediaMVP server to work. When I install (ver "GBPVR09516.msi"), it finishes and the tells me that "Windows has shut down Config.exe". The GBPVR service will start ok, but GBPVR.EXE and CONFIG.EXE both fail to start. I have attached "GBPVR.exe.log". Any suggestions would be great!!

Thanks,

Thats ok. If you dont need to use a capture card, then you dont need the drivers.

Did you install .net 1.1? .net 2.0 will not do.

You can have .net 1.1 and 2.0 installed at the same time.

I tried to install GBPVR on Windows XP+64 bit and couldn't run it with .net 1.1. - Got message saying I needed .NET 2.0 - Is there a .net 1.1 64 bit?

Older versions required .net 1.1. The last few release have required .net 2.0.

Whilst I dont personally use it on the 64 bit version of XP, it apparently works fine.

Installed the .NET 2.0 framework from here. GBPVR works fine with Windows XP 64.
