Hi,

Since I've upgraded from the earlier version, I've found it impossible to have more than 2 or 3 channels showing in the TV Guide. Under v0.90.79 (?) things worked fairly well. It had taken me a while to work out how to capture channels but once done, the TV Guide was correctly populated & recordings went quite well.

Now, although I can watch Live TV on all channels, the guide doesn't really work at all. After several careful uninstalls & reinstalls, my TV Guide is actually only showing 2 channels.

Hardware is:
Althlon XP64 X2 Dual Core 3800
2 Gig PC3200 ram
XP Pro SP2 & all updates
152 Gb Hard drive
Hauppage USB2 Nova-T
Dedicated external aerial
Excellent Freeview reception

The Hauppage WinTV2000 works well and picks up all channels.

Any advice and suggestions welcomed.

What EPG source are you using?

Hi Sub,

I appear to be using Bleb.

I get the feeling the bleb option may be broken. Its been at least two years since I last tested it, and recently there have been a couple of reports of problems with it.

Most people in the UK either user the XMLTV grabber from http://www.birtles.org.uk/xmltv/, or the DVB EPG.

I'm going to remove BLEB as an option in the next release.

Hi Sub,

Thanks for that.

Having done a search on the forum about a blank TV Guide, I came across a reference to dvbepg-patches.zip. I've downloaded that and assumed that you extracted it to the gbpvr folder. I get a consistent crc error when I do with the nativeutilities.dll .

Is that normal and, even, should I persist in downloading it again (done it twice)?

That patch was for an older release of GB-PVR. You dont need that patch with v0.99.5.

Ah... Thanks for that. I will try the EPGs you have suggested and post a report.

Thanks

Well, DVD-EPG seems to be working fine. Smile

Thanks for the help.
