Updated weather plug-in for GBPVR 0.98

I a bug I suppose, but you have to check the "Display of Video Archiver panel" for the "Display Options" tab in order for the auto update settings to be enabled. I am not sure what happens if you don't have the video archive plug-in installed; I have never tested it in that way.

I haven't messed with this since Oct, but I guess this is still an issue; the video archive plugin is still optional, and without it the weather won't update. At least, I haven't put in the video archive plugin and the 4.0 weather only grabs the stats at first run.

Easy to solve, I just haven't messed with the setup since Oct, and I noticed the problem again when putting 0.99.05 on and getting to the to-do list.

A mention on the wiki that the video archive plugin is required may be the best fix? From the (lack of) comments Weather seems rock solid.

I forgot to change this. I have made the change and it will be in the next release, whenever that is. All I had to do was comment out one line of code.

For whatever reason I've held off the the video plugin, trying to keep the overall setup minimal so I don't have to do much when there is an update of the main app-- I just don't have time to fiddle much and I love that it all "just works".

I'll try and take the plunge and take a look at the other plugin soon.

I've posted an updated version on the wiki site at http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Plugin/Weather

The new version has moved forecast text to icon mapping into a weather.xml file in the main gbpvr directory. You can add as many weather types as you wish. What the plug-in does is map the text string description of the weather to an icon. Multiple strings can be mapped to the same icon. By default, for example the text strings “am clouds” and “pm clouds” both get mapped to the icon for “cloudy”. If you wanted to you could create a new pmcloudy weather type with its own icon and map “pm clouds” to it instead.
