I am having trouble getting the video to work on the AFTV Channels. I just get a black screen and hear the audio when I play it over my MediaMVP. When I try them on my pc they work fine. I made the change in VLC to check the "Use RTP over the RTSP", but it still doesn't work. I get some of the other channels to work fine (video & audio) but some don't work at all. Any help in solving this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The AFTV streams use the H.264 codec (which provides very high quality video at relatively low bitrates). While VLC can play these streams fine (so they can be played using UbuStream list mode) there seems to be a bug in the VLC transcoding process when converting from H.264 to mpeg2. That's why they won't work in channel mode (and, therefore, for your MVP). I have posted a question about this on the VLC Forums but, so far, have got no response. From browsing other posts, I suspect this is a problem with ffmpeg (so may not be "fixable" by the VLC team).

BTW - For those of you who can't play the AFTV streams at all (even in list mode), make sure you have configured VLC to enable rtp over tcp (required for these particular streams). From the VLC menu, select "Settings>Preferences", choose "Input/Codecs>Demuxers>RTP/RTSP", then check "Advanced options" and check "Use RTP over RTSP (TCP)". You only need to do this once.
