I was sorry to see the final end of Pmail after 17 years - a freebie email and MTA system from one of your countrymen - http://www.pmail.com/

I used to look after a college system with 1000's of users and it behaved perfectly all the time I was there. Shame to see it go, although I'm still using the client here at home.

... and all support is stopped too, meaning that I have to search for a solution for our company (Pmail was so easy to use especially in a Novell Network). Sad

I am still running mercury and very happy with it.
Hope it will run for many years without microsoft breaking it.

Wow -- my company used to use pmail on a Novell network with Windows 3.1 workstations circa 1995. Sad to see it go.

Yep, supported Pmail and Mercury on a Polytechnic Novell network. I suppose the inevitable has happened but it is a shame to see it go.
