Are there any earlier versions of this software that did not require the .NET Framework?

I don't beleive their are any. Sub started this project in order to learn .NET (and other reasons as well i beleive)

no. IIRC, sub basically started gbpvr as a project to learn .net, so it was always a .net app.

AMD 1600mHz, 512 M RAM, 20+160 GB drive, Hauppauge PVR-350 + PVR-150 + PVR-150MCE, Win XP Pro SP3, using software decoding.

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.

There is another theory which states that this has already happened.
