I've discovered this curious site... why post it here?... well.. I live in south Madrid (Spain), and if I dig very very deep, I will stop in... New Zealand! exactly here: (see image attached)

I remembered that Sub and lot of users of GBPVR are from that country... so...

¡Hola a todos desde España, desde el otro lado del mundo! (hi all from Spain, on the other side of the world!)

where is your 'other side'?

I remember looking it up once when I was younger, and remember Spain was on the opposite side of the world from where I live - funny because we're nowhere near as warm.

You come out only a two or three hundred kilometers away from me here in Wellington.

when we're little we're always told that we'll end up in australia (where they all walk around upsidedown, of course), but it turns out that I'm swimming a few hundred k off the SE of NZ.....

Nice, I would end up off the south east coast of south africa. Definitely don't want to swim ashore, bad times over there.

Hmm, I'm about 500 miles of the southweste coast of Australia.

My mother always told me I would come out in China if I dug a hole all the way through the earth.

Then again, she also told me that with my blue eyes I would be able to choose any girl I wanted. That turned out to be not so much true either.

I think that probaly applies to any starting point in the UK.

You wouldn't be swimming though...

...once you'd made it through, the Pacific Ocean would empty into your back garden and you could walk to NZ. Big Grin

I ended up in the middle of the Indian ocean... around the epicenter of that massive earthquake that caused the tsunami.

Wouldn't it have been somethin' if Wellington, CO matched up with Wellington, NZ
