I looked through the first few pages and didn't see this request so delete this if it's been requested already.
Swap/cycle tuner feature:
The ability to swap between tuners with a push of a button:
I have this feature on my Comcast DVR and really love it. Since I don't use the live preview feature what I'd love to be able to do is program a button on my remote that "swap" between the tuners.
How it works:
If not recording:
Start Live TV and select first tuner availible with timeshift. If I press swap switch to other tuner and start timeshift.
Then have both timeshifting live tv so I can pause one on a commerical switch to other and watch it for a while then when a commerical on the second tuner starts I can pause and switch back to the first tuner. I love doing this so I can skip forward through commericals.
If I switch a channel on either tuner it just restarts the timeshift like normal
If recording but not on all tuners:
Start live TV and select the first tuner avaible thats not recording and start timeshift. If I press swap then switch to the other tuner and start playing the recording as close to live TV as possible.
If I switch a channel on the tuner that is not recording then just restart the timeshift. If on a tuner that is recording either prevent channel change or warn that if I change the channel it will cancel the recording ( I like the warning but can live with just not being able to change the channel).
If recording on all tuners:
Start live TV and ask which recording I would like to watch but start the recording as close to the live TV as possible. If I hit the swap button then just switch to the other turner and start as close to live TV as possible.
If I switch a channel either pop up a warning or prevent channel change.
I know this is a lot but I think alot of people would like it. For me it make watching live TV a lot better.
Let me know what you think.

BTW if I haven't mentioned it enough this program absolutely ROCKS!! (I've also converted my friend from MythTV because he found out that one of the DVB-S cards he was looking at wasn't supported by linux but was supported natively with GBPVR).
I donated at Xmas but will do it again soon! Keep up the fantasic work!
