DO not get me wrong, 264 is looking more and more like the lossy video format of future...in many parts of Europe DVB streams are broadcast in 264 and it is a very good format for reducing file size while maintaining PQ. BUT for now since the primary way to get video in 264 is to convert it from some other format...since there is a current severe limitation on where it can be played...and finally that it is a very slow cpu intensive conversion then IMHO it is not worth using...at the moment.
