OK, the logs are attached. I noticed something about ConnectPins failing - no idea what that means, but thought maybe it had something to do with the fact that I chose VMR9. I also tried overlay, VMR7, etc - but the results were always the same. I also tried not using nVidia as video source but system default instead - but did not help.

Thank you.

I think its something to do with this one.

Could something else on the machine be using that capture device?

Well... I do have BeyondTV Trial installed, but I made sure to shut it down before running config. I also have the software that came with the tuner, but also shutdown. I'll uninstall those two to see if maybe they had a running service that was using the device...

When you say "that capture device" I assume you are referring to the tuner, correct? This has nothing to do with the video card?

Correct.
Quote:[Fusion HDTV-USB (ATSC) type2]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=Bluebird, BDA Tuner1
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Input0
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=Output1
Its possible the line I've highlighted above is wrong. Its hard for me to tell. To check you'd probably need to download GraphEdit (google), click the Insert Filters menu option and insert the "BDA Network Providers"->"Microsoft ATSC Network Provider" filter and the "BDA Source Filters"->"Bluebird, BDA Tuner1" filter, then connect them together. Hopefully then you should get an output pin created in the Bluebird filter. What name does it show?

OK, I completely uninstalled BeyondTV and the Dvico software that came with the tuner, and then rebooted. I don't think there's anything else that could be using the tuner. It did not fix the problem.

I did as you suggested with GraphEdit. The output pin for the bluebird device was just called "MPEG2 Transport", so I modifed BDA.ini and restarted config, but it didn't help. Darn! GraphEdit was interesting at least..

Sorry, I'm not really sure what to suggest.

If you've got a fast internet connection, I could remotely connect in and try a few things (via VNC or other remote connection software), but otherwise I'm out of ideas.

If you're up for it, I wouldn't mind. I have XP Pro with Remote Deskop enabled. Or, I could install something else. I'm not sure if the firewall or internet provider would have ports blocked..

If you PM me your IP address and a username/password, then I'll connect and take a look.

I'd also need to know where graphedit is on your machine.
