OK I powred off my computer to change the video card cause it was freezing up my cpu. Now it won't turn back on. THere is a red light right under the video card does anyone know what this means?
Also,
Perhaps your old video card was locking up the system because when it tried to do anything graphic intensive it pulled too much power from a bad PSU & that is what was really the problem?

Depends on the motherboard...may just mean the mains is connected. Will it start with the old card in? The new one may not be compatible for some reason
Ok sorry no the computer would not work with any card anymore. I think something must have happend to the motherboard. I just moved all componets to the new tower and exchanged the video card to a Radeon 9550 AGP and everything works except for the S-Video out to the TV.
I am starting to get frustraited never had so many issues changing hardware and making it work. Oh well learning experiance. Will let you all know. Thanks for the tips.
