How do I get Chase TV features?

Is it posssible to get Tivo like features where you watch a show currently being recorded? Do you need more than one TV Tuner? What plugins are required? Do you need a tuner with special features? Is there anything in the documentation that I can read?

Chase TV is a term used by some of the manufacturers for the Tivo type feature of watching the beginning of a recording some time after you start recording the program but while the while it is still recording. Apparently the "chase" is catching up with the recorder by skipping commercials etc. there are a number of names given to this feature but I think that Chase TV is very descriptive. I think that others refer to this a being able to pause and skip

And pause it, rewind it, forward skip commercials (if you're behind enough in imte) etc etc....
