hear audio, no video unless in tuning assistant

hey guys,

i got a clean install of gb-pvr. i have configured it and it found the tuner card. if i go to live tv i see nothing. if i go to the tunining assistant i can see the video. am i missing a setting somewhere.

i have a previous install that worked right but i kept getting error messages so i reinstalled...

It sounds like you dont have a video decoder installed.

hmmm... maybe thats what it is. ok. that might be it because i had installed all these decoder plugins last time.
