Cyberlink remote setup

so i got a ati 550 theater pro card awhile ago and have been using gbpvr ever since. The remote that came with the card was a cyberlink remote. For almost the last year i've never really set it up and have just dealt with limited functionality. Basically all i can do with the remote right now is volume, change channels, select where to go (ie music, live tv, tv guide) and thats it. The remote has lots of buttons that go unused such as a back button (which i really want), and hot keys to the different things (like a hot key for live tv, music, ect)


Can anyone give me advice on how to set up this remote? I've tried the different "remote" option in the config but i might be missing something

I have the same card and remote. You need to set the remote type to MCE Remote in the config app. Also, what OS are you running. I found with WinXP 64bit edition the remote drivers were useless.

In addition to what McBainUK said, there is a plug-in for Girder that gives you access to the buttons in the white box.

I use one of them to cycle through aspects.
