Thanks. Good to know. In my earlier research, I was relying on HDTV card mfg recommended minimum hardware requirements. Apparently those with hardware decoders / accelerators (MyHD, Dvico Fusion) didn't state a need for a robust GPU in the host machine.
Is there an equivalent ATI chipset to the NV6600 I should use as a baseline?
sub Wrote:No you can click the green status bar. GB-PVR's control is pretty much designed for remotes. There is some minimal mouse control - but it doesnt extend to stuff like this.
You can click the 'manual rec' button in the recordings screen to create a recording on any channel/time/recurance.
Unfortunately, as in the green status bar, the trackball doesn't work. The trackball only can increment the highlighted CHANNEL section. It will not scroll down to the START DATE, START TIME, etc., etc.
sub Wrote:I think the HDHomeRun driver only enables the first tuner, so you'll need to wait for this to be resolved. After this is in place, you can setup two capture sources for the HDHomeRun, one as device #1 the other as device #2, and GB-PVR will automatically allocate recordings to these capture sources.
When one sets up to do the initial channel scan, the user can select either tuner. However, the results of the channel scan do not include any info on which tuner is in use. The channel selection information is the same. HDHomeRun Config may be the work around to select the active tuner that GB-PVR is sending change commands to.
Thanks for your assistance.
