I recently upgraded my GBPVR machine with mainly all new hardware although the pvr150 and the video cards are the same after installing the software as I did with my previous one for some odd reason I can hear the sound great but they video is a static black screen. I have research all the codec posibilites even downloading the GPL ones offer in this site but I still have the same problem. I'm not new to the GBPVR world but this is the first time i'm stuck with this situation and I don't know what to do. Is there anyone out-there who can solve this problem? I would appreciate it.

hmmm,if you're set to use overlay, if you're not showing gbpvr on the 'primary' monitor, it will appear black...drag the window over to the other monitor and the video is visible.....
usually this only happens when video card doesn't have enough memory for both, but on some it happens always...quick test is to set to vmr and see if you get picture...if already using vmr then it's something else..[most likely video drivers or settings of same]
[also could be cyberlink decoder if that's what you're using...]

Can anyone tell me where i can find my logs files so I can zip them...I'll also try vmr but please note that this machine used to run gbpvr a year ago with no problem!

If you are using the latest version of gbpvr (and you installed it to the default location), they are in c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\logs
(see http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=16767)
I'm not always right

Can you post the logs with the Cyberlink decoders selected on the playback tab? The nero ones have cause problems for lots of users.

I'm not really sure - the logs seem to look ok. Did you try switching to VMR7 or VMR9 to see if it made a difference?
