I am likewise not in a hurry and I appreciate the work you do. I too will help in any way I can. For me, in my part of Canada, I would prefer zap2it because fandango doesn't carry 2 of the theatre chains closest to me (& I understand that is because Empire Theatres and Rainbow theatres choose not to submit their information to Fandango).

I will look into adding both sources (have multiples for other countries like NZ for example).

Quote:Let me know if I can be of any help - I am not a real programmer (certainly not .net anyway) but I will contribute what I can - testing, graphics, etc.
If you feel like a play/challange the source is on the wiki. Adding a source involves adding a new Webscraper class. Most of the functionality is already there - just needs to be told what to look for to find the film titles/times etc.

I've just reuploaded the source zip including source for the Netherlands source. Best tip I can give is just look at the source for (eg) public class NewZealand_SkyCity : WebScraper and edit the RefreshFilms/Cinemas/Showings and GetVenuePage methods to suit the source.

This bit is what searches the HTML source:
// Look for film's title
parseReturns = ParseForWordsBetween(filmSource, "<title>SKYCITY Cinemas - Where Movies Live - ", "</title>");

Good luck Wink

Can you make an executable for the Netherlands to see what you've got so far (or is there any other way to check this)
Hmm, funny to see you've used the Antilles flag as being ours...... is't just red-white-blue like this one.

Will fix the flag-that flag was given as the Netherlands flag in the flag pack I downloaded.

The source code for the Netherlands exe is on the wiki (reuploaded the full project yesterday).

V2.0 of the plugin (which includes the compiled Netherlands exe) is on the wiki also.

WOW :eek: I'm impressed ! specially given the fact you don't know dutch !
I was under the impression you had "some" part working but as far I can see it's all done !

Well, works like a charm, I've manually edited the cinemas.xml to add some address data and found that as soon there was an update the xml was overwrittten, so I've set the properties yo read only, not sure if that will cause a problem. I guess not as long as there are no new cinema's added.

thanx.... !

Yeah there was a bit of guessing invlovled but found it ok.

Have you tried a 'refresh' with the cinemas.xml file set to read only? It's not something I've tested but it should just skip it and carry on to films/showings.

I did, and it works OK. I think as long as there is no change in the filmladder.nl source, or trying to add cinemas in the config it should be alright.
