Hi there,

I wonder if someone can point me in the right direction to get the ATI enhanced MPEG decoder files.

I have lost my disk and need to get them installed again.

Thanks

I assume you mean the ATI Avivo MPEG files for the x1000 cards? If so you can download the Avivio package for Radeon x1000 cards from here:

http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/xp/ra...vo-xp.html
P4 3.0Ghz, 1GB Ram, 120 + 250GB HD, ATI x1600 @ 720p
Hauppauge PVR500, (2) ATI TV Wonder 550
XP Pro SP2, HIP, FFDshow (for audio), VMR9

And if you're talking about the pre-X1000 MPEG decoder, I believe you *must* have the CD to download and install the drivers from the website. It's that way with my 9200.

Thanks. But due to me not putting in all the information I got the wrong answer.

Thank you anyway.

I have an ATI Radeon 9550. I think the MPEG drivers were on one of the CDs that came with the card.

Cheers

there is a copy of the avivo package that has been modded to work with any card. A very quick google (i;m at work atm) revealed this link which I think is the one.

http://www.etplanet.com/download/details.php?file=1812

Also I think there is a registry mod u can do that will enable the full ati package to be installed irrespective of the graphics card.
