I made some changes to the Jukebox plugin to fix some bugs I found with it and the MVP. How can I make these available to others?

- Fixed page up/page down buttons to register as onclick events. They didn't reset the 10 second timer that switches the screen back to the playlist. They also didn't switch the screen back to the file list from the playlist screen.

- Made the OK button the way to select tracks to add to the playlist. Using the Right button to both navigate and select tracks made people accidentally select tracks they didn't want to play.

- Made the album image on the playlist screen bigger.

Are there any plans to allow playlist modifications? The only options available through the API are adding songs and retrieving the current playlist. A way to remove and/or reorder songs would be nice.

Also, there is a bug where the MVP will stop playing songs in the playlist if the user navigates to the Main Menu. The current song keeps playing, and the playlist remains intact, but the next song will not start playing unless someone presses Play. Any guesses as to why this is happening?

Thanks!
Ronnie

I noticed this a while ago and raised it (was over the Christmas period though so may have been missed). Any thoughts sub? Note that this works fine on the PC its only on the MVP that the problem occurs & it seems to be all plugins not just the jukebox.

perhaps I need some tutorial help [Image: smile.gif]

I can't get the jukebox plugin to work, correctly.. Course I'm sure it's an IO error (Idiot Operator). I used the readme as a guide, perhaps I should not access my M: drive which is mapped to my Samba server for MP3s...

Does Jukebox not like mapped drives? Should I use iSCSI to connect to my Linux server instead so the drive 'looks' local to my PVR box?

Assistance is greatly appreciated...

And and I should go ahead and put out a big ole' THANK YOU for gb-pvr, simply awesome.. Run across it last week, put it in Monday, laid down the new version last night and picked up an MVP.. works exactly how I wanted.. now I just need to post another question elsewhere...

Thanks!

John

Hi.
Will there be an update to jukebox, to work with the new release (0.9) or is it working. I had several problems, but they could be me-skin related too..

I dont run the jukebox so cant confirm or deny it works with the 0.90.x releases, but I cant think of any changes that will stop it running. It should still work.

I doubt it there will be any changes to this plugin. I dont think the author is with us anymore.
