- Control the display names of channes (I mentined this in the support thread)
- Have a thumbnail view, or otherwise allow more items to dispay (we're sitting close to a very big TV, we can view more than 4 items on the screen...)
- If viewing TV from EasyView, do not allow changing channes. or, possibly, change channels to only ones that are in the EasyView
- When viewing from EasyView, block other keys (e.g. Info shows the main menu with the video inset)
- Altogether, maybe have the EasyView, not only a screen, but rather a "mode" GB-PVR is started in, and blocks all access to content that is not part of the EasyView lists.

* MCE Remote + Keyboard
* Win XP SP2 / GBPVR [Latest version. always]
* Pioneer HDTV via VGA (1360x768)

* Logitech Harmony 880 [via MS Remote Control Reciever]

I'll try to do something like this for the next release.

I'm glad you're enjoying this screen, but I have to be honest that these suggestions take things too far. This wasnt really the purpose of this screen, and creates much more work than I would have wanted for this screen, so there is a good chance you wont see these features.

I have already added both of these for the next release.

Well, I am enjoying it (planning to - i'm trying to gather the stuff for my kids over there). Actually, my intention is to use it for my daughter's Client GB-PVR on her own desktop.
I know i'm "pushing" here. It's OK - whatever falls off the plate - as long as I tried, and as long as we have it documented. If and when you want to invest more effort in this screen (or mode), then you have the wishlist.

You see - that's why I keep asking Big Grin. Great news!

BTW - trying to solve the problem of zapping to other channels (won't your daughter have the same problem, if she uses the up/down while in TV mode?), (and this is not really related to EasyView, but more to what I'm trying to achieve here):
Is it possible to have a favorite channel list for a client that is different from the server (i.e server has all channels, client has few)?

Yes, she can get to the other channels, but that doesnt bother me. I just wanted away for her to get directly to her channel.

No, unfortunately they come from the same shared database.
