So are there two types of these cards? One with H and the other without the H at the end? Cause here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GB-PVR I can read, that a card Leadtek WinFast DTV1000 and DTV2000 are by GB-PVR suported.
Thanks for reply

Only what I had to do was change a little bda.ini - exactly according the information which I fount in my PC after the card installation"

[Leadtek DTV2000 H]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=WinFast DTV2000 H BDA DVB-T Tuner/Demod (Philips FMD1216ME)
FILTER_CAPTURE=WinFast DTV2000 H BDA Transport Stream Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

-------------added section------------
[WinFast DTV2000 H]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=WinFast DTV2000 H BDA DVB-T Tuner/Demod
FILTER_CAPTURE=WinFast DTV2000 H BDA Transport Stream Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

Sorry, my mistake then. I was thinking it was an analog card, and the only analog Leadtek card which works is the Leadtek PVR2000.

It is my great pleasure to inform all that I have got my Leadtek WinFast DTV2000 H card working with GB-PVR (v0.99.12)!

All that was required was to alter the existing [Leadtek DTV2000 H] ]bda.ini section to:

[Leadtek DTV2000 H]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=WinFast DTV2000 H BDA DVB-T Tuner/Demod
FILTER_CAPTURE=WinFast DTV2000 H BDA Transport Stream Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

I just changed the FILTURE_TUNER line to match the similarly named device in My Computer -> Device Manager -> Sounds etc

Fantastic. The native software (WinFast PVR2 Version 2.0.2.14) for the DTV2000 H is brilliant as well, along with the "CoolCommand", Y04G0004 remote control.

I've waited for several years for a decent DTV card experience and so far, this DTV2000 H has finally lived up to my hopes and expectations.

No worries Sub. I should also mention that I only needed the "System Default" Video Decoder and Audio Decoder in the Playback tab and the Audio Renderer is set to Cyberlink Audio Renderer (PCM4).

The throughput was extremely choppy but maybe I could use different Decoders to help in that respect.

ATM the Winfast PVR2 software is excellent so I'm not too worried about GB-PVR just yet Smile

The "system default" setting effectively tells you machine to pick some random decoder you have installed. Its usually a bad choice. Explicitly selecting the decoder is usually a much better idea in the long run.

Hi Sub

When running WinFast PVR2 it gave me two options for "MPEG-2 Codec":

Leadtek DTV Codec
CyberLink PowerCinema 4.0 Codec

The latter is leftover from installing the ASUS MyCinema's bundled software.

Strangely I didn't see either in GB-PVR's Playback tab though I had seen the PowerCinema codec in there at some point.

I tried both codecs in Winfast PVR2 without noticing any immediate difference.

Now I've just installed CyberLink PowerDVD as bundled with the Leadtek WinFast card and I have a third option in WinFast PVR2:

CyberLink PowerDVD Codec

Seems strange to me that the Leadtek and CyberLink PowerCinema codecs do not show up in GB-PVR. Is that what you would expect?
