Not sure what areas of the Northern Hemisphere can see this at the moment but just West of London the sky is totally cloud free - possibly the best view of a lunar eclipse I've seen.

Get off the computer and go and stick your head out of the window. Smile

Yes sir! I just did, thanks for reminding, the view isn't very spectacular here, I guess because the sky isn't exactly clear.
AMD Athlon 64 3000, HDD: 80, 120, 200 GB, Hauppauge 350 + 150, MVP, Asus 6000L Laptop client, Asus X50sl client,

My son and I were outside watching the reddish glow on the moon. That was how it looked from Eastern Canada.

If you can see the moon at the moment then you'll see the eclipse. It doesn't matter where you are, as long as you can see the moon.

If you have usenet access, there are some posted in alt.binaries.pictures.astro, including one from Essex, UK. Here's an NZB, inside a ZIP, as '.nzb' isn't one of the valid extensions for attachments here:
