I have a legal swedish Boxer Viaccesscard and want to use it with GBPVR somehow.
Yes. You need to have connected a phoenix smartcard reader (and run NewCS card server software), and need to have setup multidec support as per MixMan's URL above.

No, there is no support for CI modules at this stage.

Quote:Does this require a lot of CPU? My GBPVR-PC is slow (1 Ghz)
To be honest, I think that PC would be marginal for watching encrypted channels.

A friend of mine claims he can use a TwinhanDTV Ter-CI (3030 Mantis) with GBPVR to watch and record all channels. I don't know how he do it.
It it possible that he use an older version?

I guess the only way to do this is to connect the STB to my PVR-250 card and use IR-blaster or similar.

Can I use the IR-cable and my PVR-250 to send commands to the STB?

Why do you say "only way"? As I said above, you can easily do what you want with multidec plugins. Lots of other Boxer users are doing this.

The PVR250 does not come with an IR Blaster, so you'd need to add one of these to your system.

Yes, I will try that. Do I still need a smartcardreader even if i have a CA-module with the Twinhan card?

Thank you for an excellent software by the way!

Yes, a phoenix smartcard reader.
