There are 2 others that I know of Video Archiver and XRecord. We can, of course argue as to which one is "best". I do have my bias towards the Video Archive plug-in...

nah ill say mines the best Tongue moviedb is a nice little thing, has the best info for dvds, but needs you to manually download the movie info via an app and then generate a xml file.

Not to start a war but... the Video Archive plug-in also has pretty good movie handling (if you convert your DVDS to mpeg format). It fetches movie posters, movies descriptions, and movie genre information from IMDB (all built-in, no external utility needed) and can categories movies by genre if desired. The fetches are done in rela-time as new movies are created and stored in a database for fast access. [Image: wink.gif]

yeah imdb is good and all, but the movieDB, thou its not real time, and requires maintenance, movieDB has got the best possible information about your movies, has the best images, and will always have the correct movie (imdb currently does the "i feel lucky" approach). theres pros and cons with every plugin, just in this field movieDB shines i feel.
