Tuner Priority - seperate or have same order for Live/Record?

Ok - I know you've seen this before - and I love the new U/D buttons in the config that help with this -

But... currently the search order for live TV and recorded TV are lock stepped in reverse of each other. What I'd like to do is to be able to simply set a numerical priority for recording and a different numerical priority for live TV per source (or at least have them search in the same order.)

Here what is causing the issue -
I have developed a plug in recorder that spits out TVPI files and the registers them with any recording program that uses TVPI - this allows me to record HDTV with the DVICO cards for example. Since it is separate from GBPVR it can't be used for live TV and should be the last in line for recording. But if I put it last in line - GBPVR tries to use it for live TV and no TV :eek:

So I can think of three solutions :
1) can I have the tuner plug in check if it is a live request and return not it is not available somehow so it moves to the next option? (easiest for you if I can - I just need to know what to check and what to return)

2) Make live and record TV priority the same order (or make this a configuration option)

3) Separate settings for priority for TV and Tuning,

I would think that others would have use for the numerical priority settings,

You can probably rig up something by creating the same capture source first and last, so that the dvico one ends up in the middle. Messy but might give you want you want today.

I'll give that a shot - I'd rather not bulk up the database even more but it should work,

It wont add duplicate listings or anything, so it shouldnt get much bigger.
