Vista tuning question

To be honest, I don't know that I want you to change anything. I'm tempted to ask Nick to create a bda driver that allows tuning to channels above 69 and tunes "qam:<frequency>" instead of "8vsb:<frequency>".

But then that wouldn't help people that are not using the HDHomeRun with cable.

Can you export your following registry key, then zip and attach it?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Tuning Spaces

Can you try the attached update to see if it helps. If not, the detected tuning space name should at least now be shown in the -native log.

Hi Sub,

I tried this patch as you suggested but it still did not pick up any channels. I did notice it completed the scan a lot quicker and for one or two channels i did see a slight signal strength and quality whereas before applying this patch it always showed 0.
