Its in the firmware that is transfered over upon restart. The latest beta does give you control to change the delay and even disable it but you will have to use the MVP Server to provide the screen to adjust it. Now, does the settings stay wth the MVP so when GBPVR is in control will it stay changed? That is the test.
I downloaded the latest MediaMVP and was able to disable the screensaver (i had to do this by manually editting the ConfigurationSet.xml). This successfully disabled the screensaver for MediaMVP. However when I tried GBPVR the screensaver still came up. How do I get the setting change to be reflected in GBPVR?
I restarted my MVP using the Hauppauge server software and then went into config and disabled it. Then I closed the server and restarted the GBPVR after powering off the MVP then powered it back on again. Seems ok to me.
I still can't get it to work. Do you think you could give me another play by play on how you did it. My goal is to either disable or lengthen the time the screensaver takes to come up. I start Hauppauge MVP and then edit the ConfigurationSet.xml file to disable the screensaver. I essentially change the value to "0". Next I restart the MVP using the "Restart" menu option in my "All Programs" menu or by restarting the MVP service. After the server has come back up I then stop the server. Next I unplug the hardware and replug it in. Then I start GBPVR but the screen still appears after 60 seconds. Any idea what I am doing differently?
