Getting content on Archos

I just recently purchased an Archos device and am salivating at getting video content from the web onto it. Seems like I can capture flash files from YouTube and GBPVR converts it to mpeg on the fly, which I think kicks ass. How is this accomplished? Also there are other sites that have content I want (like peekvid) but I cannot seem to be able to save the videos to my drive. Any idea why? Thanx in advance.

Would like to take this opportunity to say that GBPVR rocks. I use the web interface while I am at work to record stuff I could not watch otherwise. I show it off at work all the time.

It just downloads the original file, then uses ffmpeg to convert it from .FLV to .MPG.

Usually websites try to hide the actually video file download links, so that aspect of it varies from website to website.
