To remove the need for a shortcut to GBPVR.exe in Startup folder, it would be cool to have an option that launches GBPVR.exe after SlimmGBPVR.exe is loaded.

I might add options to SlimmGBPVR that control whether there is an entry for SlimmGBPVR, GBPVRTray and GBPVR in the Startup menu. I think that would be a useful compromise though I would say that getting GBPVR to autostart would be more appropriately placed in the GBPVR Config utility on the first page along with the 'start fullscreen' / 'start on second monitor' options. Perhaps that is something you can try and add to sub's To Do list.

Similiar functionaility added to latest version of Slimm GB-PVR. Thanks for the suggestion which prompted me to do something I'd been meaning to do for a while.

I do something similar in an AutoIt script here. It checks to see if GBPVR is running, if not, it starts it, and rechecks every 20 seconds both to see it's running, and that it's active - this stops the problem of a Windows dialogue box stealing the focus. It's also smart enough not to try restarting GB-PVR if the config app is running.

Can it tell if a GB-PVR plugin has stolen focus?

I ask because the UbuStream/Radio players actually activate in a separate window from GB-PVR, but it's normally transparent to the user since they can still control the Ubu Player with the remote.

Sorry for the late response. You've probably had alook at StartGBPVR by now - but yes it detects if GBPVR has lost focus and then restores it.
