Some help needed please! I have spent loads of time searching the forums and reading through the manuals etc and just can't get a picture. I have a Nova T-500 installed and have configured both tuners and uploaded the EPG using XMLTV GUI.
However when I start GBPVR and select either TV Guide or Live TV I get no picture or sound and the same repsonse 'No channels have been set up.......' and so on.
Wintv2000 works fine but I don't want to use it!

You say you've "uploaded the EPG using XMLTV GUI", I don't think actually loads any of the data that GBPVR uses (GBPVR uses its own database file). GBPVR needs to be used to do the EPG download (I use Zap2It, but I think they work the same). You need to configure your XML source data in the 'Capture Source' configuration of GBPVR, then do an EPG update/full download.

I would recommend that you read through the page on the wiki under 'Manual' for Configuration/Capture Sources. At http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Config/CaptureSource.

Thanks for reply pablopbb. I think my terminology isn't helping! I have configured my XML data as you describe and I have spent lots of time reading the wiki to make sure I'm not wasting anyones time but I still can't get a picture.
I'm stuck big time!

When you clicked the 'map digital channels to EPG channels' button in your capture source, did the scan find your channels? and if so, did you map each of them? It sounds like you havnt.
