if u have laptop, do u leave mvp on when u d/c ethernet?

If you have a laptop that u may take different places but is also connected to mvp, how do u manage disconnecting it form mvp? turn off mvp, leave it on, etc?

i have a laptop connected to mvp at home. however, i don't always hook up the laptop to the mvp, as I may take it other places. Seems like the best solution is to just press the power button on mvp before d/c the laptop from mvp.

I would think that would be fine. Give it a shot since it can't hurt anything.

I leave mine connected 24/7, but disconnect the ethernet and power for a hard reboot now and then. It comes back up without issue.
