XRecord on PC Client

Hi, just installed GBPVR on my laptop and set it up as a PC Client. Standard plugins are working, tried XRecord plugin, as it is my preferred video plugin, it configured using the networked drives but when I choose a video, Play does not appear instead Delete appears.

Is there a way to make this work with a PC Client

As discussed here here, XRecord has problems with gbpvr's client/server mode. I could probably get most features to work for "network drive" mode if there's enough demand for it. In "streaming" mode, I'm not sure how it could work.

This might be a case where some Webservices that run as an addon to the Enhanced Web Admin would prove useful. This way, regardless if the UI is running in client mode or on the server itself, it would request the information from the web service for particular operations. All that would need to be given is the url to the web service.
