MVP screen saver

smelcher i changed it in the config thing on the hauppauge MVP software actually on the tv screen using the remote - its on the main screen. Goto Options or Config or whatever its called and page down - the screen saver settings are there.

longer daly? As in it is using the 5 minutes or 15 minutes setting? Thats not so bad. How did you do that?

Neither the delay or the disable have any effect on my GBPVR. It does fix Hauppauge...but I dont use that

if it is in the firmare transffered over, the screen saver could probably be changed. A linux distro is transferred over, so you should just have to unpack, change, repack.

Also make sure you use the latest dongle.bin for the GBPVR frimware transfer, copy the dongle.bin file from the Hauppauge directory to the GBPVR directory. you may want to rename the GBPVR dingle just in case you start to experience problems. I doubt Hauppauge is modifying the dongle.bin file, this will cause update issues if the date and time changes with the update, so the settings may be stores in the MVP, or maybe the settings are sent in the HTML pages as they are loaded by the MVP. I dont know, maybe someone may want to research how the settings are saved for the original MVP software.

Then Sub can work on using these or recreating these settings.
