k.

After you changed it to 7648, did you press the update button under streamer configuration settings? Mine stays at 7648 after I did that.

Yup. Hit it a few times :-) .....[EDIT] Seems OK now? Maybe just a refresh issue....I'll watch it! [EDIT2]Nope. After a failed stream window it went back to 1234..???

Found the no stream problem. Firewall. A recent WinXP re-install, forgot to add GBPVRStream Port 7648 to windows firewall. Try it w/o firewall at first... Still have 1234 <=> 7648 not updating though....

Here's how I can reproduce the 1234 thing.

0. I have VLC and 7648 saved with Update.
1. I Choose stream a Video using VLC. Works Fine.
2. Stop the Stream amd Stop the Server (or just stop the server)
3. I stream another Video immediately after. It doesn't stream. Is the VLC Server Stuck? Tried too soon after the otehr one? Stopped Server too fast and didn't wait for play to actually start??
4. So I stop the server. Big RED button,
5. I try to stream another Video immediately after. At this juncture it says 1234.

Ok....hopefully this is the last patch for the Player.......I had thought (silly me Rolleyes ) that the move of the configuration settings would be very easy.....unfortunatly that was not the case......

To use this patch......

Stop the recording service
Delete the KeepAlive.aspx and KeepAlive.aspx.cs files from the gbpvr\web directory
Extract the attached files to the gbpvr directory (they should install to the gbpvr\web\public and gbpvr\web\app_code\classes directories since the directories are included in the archive)
Start the recording service

Let me know if any issues arise........

Sorry it too so long for me to post back. I finally got my stream up and running. It can't sem to stream any faster than 128 Kbit or I get big dropouts. But it is streaming. So thanks for all the help so far.
UJB, I just applied the latest version of your patch and so far all is OK.
Is it normal to only be able to stream across the internet at 128? My upload with COMCAST was just bumped to 1 mb up.

Again thanks to all in the community for the help. Thats what keeps GBPVR the best.
