Nope, not quite. This is what I have:

• I have an MVP with the 45 Haup button remote.
  
• I have the cheap PVR-150 w/o a remote or IR, which as the wiki says is "the perfect companion to the MVP".
  
• I have the USB-UIRT to blast (TRANSMIT) channel changes to my DSL Broadband TV box.

This is what I'm looking for:

• Use the (SAME) MVP's 45 button remote (which btw is the same one as for the "higher model" PVR-150) to zap the USBUIRT (i.e. USBUIRT RECEIVEs) ...
  
• .... which then sends a message to GBPVR to peform some action (play, change channel) which ...
  
• .... in turn (if required) blasts (TRANSMITs) channel changes to my DSL Broadband TV box.

If you'd like I can write another walkthrough for YOU to create the profiles that use a Hauppauge remote, USB-UIRT, and GB-PVR...

Sure, I don't really mind which I use, I can have a play with the s/w myself provided I know it is possible. Otherwise I will spend a lot of frustrating doing stuff nights my wife has "otehr plans" for :-)

You need a remote that will be able to emulate some keys from the Hauppauge and the DSL box...

Either. If you have a MVP sitting in the same room as your hauppauge remote, of course it will respond, in spite of the USB-UIRT also being programmed to listen to the hauppauge remote...

You'd need to get a Harmony, that is programmed with the Hauppauge AND you DSL remote

The MVP is downstairs, DSL box upsatairs ... I take the remote upsatirs (it's not THAT heavy...)

Yes you can do that. Period. I have done that. (using the MCE Beanbag on the computer in one room, and the MVP in another.)
