its the annoying windows installer, it always tries to reinstall the missing files if you delete them. it also happens if you delete some of the channel icons. theres nothing you can do about this sadly. sub knows about the bug, but to busy to bother with it.

errr it was the from the xbmc media experience skin. so try http://www.xbox-skins.net or http://www.allxboxskins.com (i think those are the right urls, if not google names similar to those). i have an email one, but thats about it in other task images. i was planning on doing one for fastfind, but you still cant skin fastfind enough for me to bother with.

please excuse my ignorance. i'm very new to all of this. i was very excited to hear of your new plugin. burning to dvd is a very important thing for me. i have never added any plugins before (justed started using gb-pvr 3 days ago).

i downloaded the plugin and the other needed programs. i think i edited the batch files correctly. i configured the plugin settings to point to the directory with my recordings. now when i go to the "my videos" section of, i can see my recordings but i don't see a "burn to dvd" button or anything of the sort. what am i missing?

thanks,
Luke

select a video file, and press the record button, or go to the video menu "ctrl-o" or the "no name button"/func button on the hauppauge remote, and select "add to disc" or burn to dvd (burn to dvd, will burn the selected file, and thats it). add will add it to "my dvd" and you can then go to "my dvd" select any file, press the noname button/ctrlo and select burn to dvd.. and that will burn the entire contents of "my dvd" to a dvd.

ive made a little program that runs after each recording, in postprocessing.bat and adds the recorded file to a queue, and that queue is then demuxed after the epg is updated. thus eliminating step 1 (if you keep everything as mpeg2 files). its saves about 10-15mins for each file, and the files stay the same quality, they dont loose anything, just demux/remuxed. now if anyone is interested in this let me know, im not going to bother releasing it, since well its just a tiny tiny tiny program, like 5lines long (well of ungenerated code). but if you want to burn often, and want to cut some time off burning dvds, let me know and ill send you a copy. it takes about about 10mins to process an hour long show, so i guess at max 2hours a day, but at 3am its no biggy.

also im looking into cheetah command line burner, its not freeware, but i think it will save some time with burning also, trying to explorer every burning option now, 30mins isnt that long to wait, but well i rather wait 10mins Tongue

anyone knows any other free burners, im trying to get away from dvddecrypter since i cant control the gui interface, and its annoying, batch commands you can hide the windows (theres an option to do this, i just set it to false by default, so you can see whats going on).

oh and whats peoples opinion about the ctrl-o bringing up the menu in "my dvD" i left it that way since its how you bring up the menu in the filelist, but it might make more sense to just use the "ok" button.

also anyone tried to burn a divx/xvid file yet? if so how long did it take, and can you post your convert.bat file so others can use it.

cheers.

reven,

great plugin! thanks for all the work. i'd definitely like to have that little demuxing program. luke.usa@gmail.com

also, is there currently any way to flag a scheduled recording so that it automatically burns to dvd when it's complete?
