Hello everybody!

I'm new to GBPVR since XMas and love it.
But until now i couldn't find a nice skin working on my TV set (PAL 16:9) ... so you see i need at least a skin with an aspect ratio of 14:9. So i decided to build my own skin based on the very nice "The Street" skin by dimov. So now the first few menus are working and i liked to have some feedback. But there is another problem: i have no webspace available for hosting the pics and than posting them here. So if someone can help me feel free to send me an email.

OK Problem solved now i have some webspace. Pictures will come in a moment

First of all i just finished the tv guide and wanted to post a new image
[Image: tvguide2.jpg]

And another thing is that there seems to be bug in the TV Guide skinning and as sub seems to read every post and i don't have a login for the bug section i post it here.
Every time i edit the textcolors of the popup to a custom color (like #000000) the popup will not load but crash. With all the other elements custom colors are ok. But in the popup you have to use standard named web colors (like White). Maybe you can fix that for the next release.

Here is what my GBPVR.exe.log says when it happens:

The section you're referring to is for 'pre-release feedback and bugs' so not really appropriate for this type of bug. Just post here is fine.

I hadn't noticed this. Now fixed for the next released.

I've just found some time to work on my skin. And found once again some "bugs" for sub hopefully to fix. This time in the recording plugin:

The main problem is that the boxes all seem to be designed for a relativly great width.
So the first "bug" is that in all menus in the recordings box the title of the recording is overlapping with the status if you reduce the weidth of the box. I think you use just on line of text for this and position title on the left and the status on the right. Maybe you could make two textlines/textboxes of it. So that the title had it's own box (lets say 80% of the available space) and to long texted would just be cut off. Then leave let's say 3 to 5 pixels of free space and then a second textbox for the status (the other 20%).
OK now the second "bug". In the popup boxes for manual recording and update the control elements seem to have a fixed width, at least nothing happens as i try to change the size in the ManualRecordingControls-Elements options. Maybe you could make these elements at least skinnable in meanings of width.

Hi Heyt,

How is your skin comming? Strangely enough, I just started working on my own skin. Decided to start with the street and did a search on the web and found a nice background, happens to be the same one you are using. Would really like to see what you have done and play with it. Any chance that you might post the skin anytime soon?
