Your VA Plugin looks great, but I cannot get it to recognize any of my Movies or TV Shows. They are all in AVI format. Will these work in your plugin?

By the way, I LOVE your Music Player Plugin. You are a genius! It does almost everything I want in such an easy yet visually lovely way.

Thanks!!!

Dadeo, I think your issue is the same as the one I outlined in this thread:

AVI files should show up in the file list. The set of file extensions that the plug-in recognized as video files is set via the config app. If you go to the plug-ins tab and bring up the settings for the videos plug-in you will see them on the bottom of the first tab in the Video Files Extensions field. By default it is set to "mpg|mpeg|avi". The string is case insensitive and extensions need to each be separated by a | symbol.

If this is what your config is set to and its not working, post the archive*.log files from the jeff subdirectory and I can take a look.

I'm glad you like the music player. Some day I hope to have the time to update it's UI to match what the VA plug-in now supports.

The config does show "mpg|mpeg|avi".

I tried to upload the log files as attachments, but it says it is an invalid file format (*.log). How do I do it? The logs all say that the directories are empty!

You need to zip them up first, and then upload them.
I'm not always right

When you zip up the files, can you also include a dierectory listing of one of the directrixes that has files so I can see what it should have found? You can create this by opening a command window, chaning to the current directory and typing the command

dir > list.txt

This will send the listing to a file named list.txt.

OK, Movies are all on a separate drive in a Movies folder, then each movie is in a folder of it's own. TV Series are in a TV Series folder, each series in it's own folder, sometimes with a sub folder for seasons. I have included lists of the main Movies and TV Series folders as well as a sample of one Movie and one TV Series in the attached Lists.zip file.

Yes; I meant to post a message saying that I can not read the zip file. Can you try downloading it from the link above and see if it works for you?
