I use EPGExtra as part of my PostUpdateEPG processing. Great utility, the program info definitely does not seem complete without the extras this program provides.
One thing I've noticed, is that EPGExtra tends to significantly take over the CPU. In most cases, this is not a problem, except when I am recording a program or performing some other processing.
Is this behavior expected, or is there some configuration parameter to tell EPGExtra to 'play nice' with other processes?
