AutoRemoveMissingRecordings function

I would like to archive a significant amount of video onto a NAS drive, but I am worried about blowing my database due to network glitches. Therefore I'm pondering setting AutoRemoveMissingRecordings to "false."

What are the downsides? I'd prefer occasional DB chuff to losing contents.

If you end up moving recordings to a place other than where GB-PVR thinks they are, then you'll get recordings without a 'play' button in the recordings screen.

That actually sounds pretty nice to me, I could use missing Play buttons as a red flag to indicate archive drive access problems.

Assuming that I can manually ensure NAS archive access, is it a good idea to occasionally enable the flag for housekeeping reasons?

I prefer to always have it enabled, but its up to you really.
